Commissioner for Oaths

The GPCA offers a Commissioner for Oaths signing for its members, free of charge. You’re welcome to book an appointment with us or drop in when you have the chance to have this completed for your project.

GPCA Plans Room

Print your blueprints and specifications for commercial projects being tendered in Grande Prairie and surrounding areas with the GCPA. Members can also scan blueprints to email or file.

Industry Training and the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA).

Alberta Construction Safety Association

COR & SECOR

A COR or SECOR shows an employer’s Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) has been evaluated by a certified auditor and meets provincial standards established by Partnerships in Injury Reduction (PIR).

Other benefits include:
● Creating a proactive workplace health and safety culture;
● Reducing the risks and costs associated with workplace incidents;
● Lowering WCB rates and qualifying a company for WCB PIR refund (in fact, a COR or SECOR qualifies refunds of up to 20%); and
● Improving overall efficiency at your work site while maintaining safe work. As a partner of ASCA, GPCA members qualify for the COR and SECOR certifications. GPCA is here to provide you with an understanding of the process, as well as connect you to specialists to build a COR/SECOR platform within your company.

National Construction Safety Officer™ (NCSO™)

Health & Safety Administrator (HSA)

Build your construction experience as you gain your entry-level safety training. GPCA members just starting in the industry can learn the various health and safety management skills and principles as an HSA to establish themselves as a safety leader.

ACSA Courses

Meet Alberta’s construction industry’s needs and follow best practices with ACSA. The association currently offers high-quality, accessible training in virtual instructor-led and on-demand (online) formats.

BuildForce Self-Assessment Tools

Find the benchmark for your performance in the industry and as a company with these provided self-assessment tools by BuildForce Canada.

Standard Forms of Contract and Construction Documents

GPCA members have access to forms from the Alberta Construction Association (ACA), the Canadian Construction Association (CCA), and the Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC).
